This episode of Found opens with Sir waking up and getting dragged out of bed. That moment sets the tone for what turns into a tense, emotionally loaded episode.

Heather explains that her identity was stolen two years ago, but she only noticed six months ago. Since then, she’s had to carry all her documents with her everywhere, because no one believes who she is. M&A promises to help her untangle everything once they find Lena, but for now, she needs to be in protective custody.

At the hospital, a nurse asks Margaret if she wants to call any family. She says her son waited for her all night. Margaret texts Jamie to ask where he is. He replies that he’ll be back soon—but he’s actually in Carrie’s house. Jamie remembers his first birthday without Margaret, when Carrie manipulated him into believing Margaret wanted to forget about him forever. Trent enters and asks Jamie if he knows where Carrie is, then asks what Jamie knows about Carrie’s first son. Jamie says losing him broke her, and they celebrated his birthday every year. But Trent reveals the son isn’t dead—he was removed by CPS because Carrie was deemed a danger to him.

Back at M&A, Margaret returns, and Jamie shows up too—with a new case. Allison is looking for her dead father. Her brother, Austin, needs a kidney transplant, and her father is the only hope for a match. He was presumed dead in a building collapse, but Allison says she saw him several months ago. She insists she’s not delusional. Jamie accepts the case without consulting anyone.

Gabi yells at Jamie for taking on a case like that. She thinks Allison might be dealing with childhood delusions. Jamie says he knows what it’s like to be ripped from parents too early. They agree to do a preliminary inquiry. They learn that Henry (the father) had legal financial trouble before his supposed death.

Trent comes to M&A with new info: the second autopsy on Christian confirms he was murdered. Lena and Christian had a heated argument, and he went over the edge—but it looks like Lena tried to pull him back. Lena also just bought a gun. Trent says Gabi needs protection. Gabi asks Trent to talk to Sir and tell him about Christian.

Margaret and Lacey meet Austin. He says their father was trash and that Allison has been clinging to his survival for years. He wants her to get closure and gives them keys to their mother’s place.

Gabi and Dhan talk to a prisoner who knew Henry. The prisoner says Henry owed him $500K. He threatened Henry and his family. After Henry’s “death,” the prisoner started receiving anonymous payments.

Jamie asks Zeke about his need to be inside. Zeke gets upset and says they don’t judge at M&A. Eventually, Jamie and Zeke have a heart-to-heart about being kidnapped. Jamie realizes Zeke never told his family about his kidnapper. Then they find out that Henry wasn’t even at the building the day it collapsed.

Gabi and Dhan confront Henry’s old boss, who admits he faked Henry’s death. He didn’t want people to know Henry was stealing from him. He says he doesn’t know where Henry is now.

Margaret and Lacey tell Allison that Henry had a lot of debt. Allison realizes her father left because of money. They ask about Austin’s job and show Allison that her mom was paying off Henry’s debt until her death. Then Austin took over.

Lacey visits Zeke. It’s awkward. Jamie leaves, heading to the police station to talk to Trent, who invited him. Jamie asks Trent not to tell Margaret that Carrie’s son is alive—he wants to tell her himself. Jamie also asks Trent not to kill Carrie. He says she still raised him, and he cares about her.

Allison confronts Austin about their dad. Austin gets so stressed by being accused of being like their father that he crashes and is rushed into surgery.

Gabi says Allison fired M&A because Austin is near the end. Jamie gets upset that they were trying to help Allison but only ended up proving her dad is a liar. He tells Margaret that Carrie’s son is alive and says Carrie was a good mom. Margaret breaks down and says Carrie was not a good mom. She asks Jamie to give her the same leeway he gives his kidnapper. They talk about his birthday and she tells him what really happened that day. Later, Margaret gives Jamie her journals, filled with her thoughts about losing her son.

Gabi passes on the Henry case to Trent because the DCPD doesn’t need client permission to investigate. Trent tells Gabi he’s being investigated for his connection to Lena. He’s off all Lena-related cases. He also tried to visit Sir but couldn’t get clearance. Mallory tells him Sir’s whereabouts are “need-to-know.”

Zeke finds text messages between Henry and his wife confirming Henry is alive. Henry left because he thought the kids would be better off. With that confirmation, Gabi does a press conference asking for a donor match for Austin, hoping to draw Henry out.

It works: Henry shows up at the hospital. He’s desperate to save Austin. He apologizes to his kids before the surgery. The transplant is successful, but after speaking to Gabi about his children, Henry dies. He never told the doctors he had a disease that would kill him if he donated. He knew the risk and did it anyway.

Allison and Austin hold a funeral for Henry. Trent and Jamie attend, after Jamie convinces Carrie to meet with him. The DCPD plans to intervene. Meanwhile, M&A has a small funeral for Christian, now knowing he was innocent and murdered.

Then, Sir shows up with the FBI.

What the hell??
